Isn't that the truth. So funny. When I decide what I want to be when I grow up, I may make a poppet to reflect ME. hehehehehe

I'm thinking I want to be a burlesque dancer. No back up plan here either. When I was young, I was Scarlett O'hara, but too big a lady for that now, or maybe a madam.

I am making a World of Warcraft male Dranei Shaman as a gift for a friend. I started with Ghillie's poppet pattern , enlarging it, masculinising it, giving it goat legs, and it is looking good.

I now need to sculpt the body. I will be painting the body so can add some details/definition that way but want to sculpt the torso and muscular arms.

Has anyone given a poppet/ doll pecs and a washboard stomach or biceps using needlesculpting? If so, can I have some hints.

I can sort of see what I need to do but would love some advice.

I guess you need to look at craftewoman's dolls. She is the queen of needle sculpting for soft dolls. Wonderful inspiration.

Hey guys! I've been away for a while, but I return bearing poppets! Or, well, just one really. Remember the progress pictures I posted of my Link poppet like . . . months ago? Now he's finished!

He has his very own thread with a massive amount of pictures over here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=328294.0

I'm ready to get back into poppeting in full force!
