Greetings All!

I just wanted to pop by to let you know The 2015 DeStash-Along thread has been started.

Let me know if there are any glaring errors.  I'm not on my usual computer and this touch pad and I haven't been communicating all that well.  And if you can think of any ways to add or improve themes, let me know.  This is the DeStash-Along's 7th (!?!) year, so things can get a bit repetitive.

I'll be doing a massive dump of December DeStash projects a little later, once I get myself organized.  Feel free to keep posting through the end of the week for those who are still finishing up their 2014 projects.

Okay, all. Here are the last few things i've gotten pictures of.

I had planned on making two Seahawks elf hats for my two nephews, but only one got done... and it got passed around at Christmas. I think everybody but my nephews wore the hat. (It's big because i wanted the boys to be able to wear their hats for a while. If i ever get the second one done...)
For example, here's my niece:

Made matching slippers for all 4 niblings (which is a real, actual word meaning nieces and nephews).

I don't know. I thought the burgundy strip going up would look cooler... I need to block it, too, it's a bit snug.

Also had higher hopes for this one. Fun to knit, but the colors looked better together before being knit up together.

Some of you knitters might know about Meredith Lee, of Leethal Knits. She posted a hat pattern on instagram and tumblr, with a new piece of the pattern being posted each day. This is how mine turned out. Not a pattern i would usually jump at, but i actually quite like it.

Your niece looks so happy! Are you a fast crocheter/knitter? You seem to crank out so many wonderful looking projects.

Nice yarn destash!  I really love the grey hat with the pops of color!

I destashed some half skeins of red yarn by making a yarn wreath...it was more work than knitting, but at least I am using up these bothersome "leftovers"...hope to use more in 2015!

I've been sorting & condensing my fabric this morning. I have 8 x 80litre storage boxes full of usable stuff  Smiley scraps are bagged up under my sewing table to be sorted another time.

Time for my massive project dump to finish off the 2014 crafting extravaganza.

Here's what happened in December on the DeStash Front

One Christmas Dress:

Christmas Mischa by AluminumDryad, on Flickr

Two Scarfs (Scarves?)

Two Zippered Pouches

And I think that finishes off the year.

Of the 70 or so projects I did this year, 47 were from stash.  Not too bad!  I think I may have come out even on the crafting stash vs. acquiring stash front.

(And for those who care, of the 70 projects, 30 were doll clothes, and all but three of those were from stash.  That seems to be my go-to-project these days Cheesy).

I hope you plan on more doll clothing...I want to make doll and baby clothing this year from all of the small pieces of fabric and yarn...

I also love the purple scarf...is it your own pattern?

Pouches are also a nice way to use stash...

Thanks for hosting...see you in 2015!
