I received these marble magnets quite a while ago. I gave them for a present for my sister last night. I was going to make a NBC themed present, but it turned out a black skully present. But the NBC magnets still fitted the theme very well.
Thanks fashionable!

I received what is probably the most beautiful hookroll in existence from heini last week.  It is so absolutely stunning that I'm afraid to use it.  I'm keeping it in the closet right now and occasionally I take it out and look at it and pet the little cat button on it.  It also has a jingle bell.  It's fantastic, seriously, much too nice for my chaotic household full of destructive animals.  I hope someday I'll be grown up enough to deserve nice things.  Smiley

Anyway, my pictures don't do it justice but there is crazy quilting and glorious fabrics and stitching and awesome buttons and its just perfect.  She also sent me a calendar that I can't read.  I hope calendars start in January in Finland or I'm going to be mixed up all year.   Grin  Thank you so much heini.

That's a beautiful hook roll - love the patchwork - was that done by hand Heini?  Grin

Thanks. I'm glad to hear that you like it. The calendar starts in January, and the names of weekdays are quite similar to English names: maanantai=Monday, tiistai=Tuesday etc. And the date numbers you will understand.

Samsara: the roll is mostly sewn with sewing machine, but some embroidery stitches are done by hand. And of course all the buttons and embellishments are attached with needle and thread.

Is that knit all the way around or does it tie underneath?  My hair gets soooooo knotted up with stuff tied underside.. That headband looks soooo comfy!!!!  I love comfy. Nothing worse than headgear being too small and squeezing your brain to the point that your eyes want to pop out like that woman that can make her eyes pop out like a cartoon character....
Such a cute headband!!
