mimiw sent me the most gorgeous zippered bags--and she sent TWO of them!  what a treat.  the blue one has a lovely blue corduroy lining, and the green one has a really rich purpley-red lining.  i'm using them already!  thank you so much, mimiw!

Pictures, finally! More goodies from the same swapper actually.

Here are the heat pads minimw sent me Smiley Only the small one is filled in this picture. I've already used it at work and I love it. It's a perfect break from the computer to just skip downstairs and toss it into the microwave.

And here's the long one in action.

Both of them are filled with rice and lavender. They are not packed full of rice so I had no problems getting the inner bag into the outer bag.

The purple fabric is so pretty and the long one is very cool. I don't think I would have picked out that fabric myself, but it's just right. That's the part I love about swaps. You get awesome things you didn't know you wanted Wink

Thanks again!

OMG don't mimiw's heat pads rock your world?!  I got one from her over the summer, but it's just gotten cool enough here to use it.  I had some surgery in my mouth on Friday and Saturday I was walking around with it on my face all day!  It really took down the swelling.  It was fantastic.  I can't wait to try it out with the lavender! (I didn't use the oil she sent since it was going to be on my face and much as I love lavender, I seriously had that thing right under my nose for 3-4 hours total yesterday.  Grin)

Since I filled them myself I just used dried lavender. It has a really strong scent when heated but will fade with use. And yes, they rock my world! *goes to nuke them again*

I love those heat bags, aren't they the greatest?  I have RA and the rice bags help SO much when my SI joints act up.  Everyone should own like 30 of them.  I keep a small cold one in the fridge for the 4 year old's boo boos.  She even loves crafty goodness.

Gorgeous work mimiw!

i am sorry for being a bad, rude swapper. i am sorry to all the partners i flaked on, and all the feelings i hurt. i feel really guilty, my life is messed up right now and i got greedy and selfish. i didnt think about anything but getting nice things. i am so sorry everyone. i'll be leaving now.

Dulcinea claimed me for an amethyst pendant and I received it today! It's absolutely stunning and brimming with positive energy! I put it on straight away this morning and I've had a really great day!  Grin Thank you so much Amy, I love it!
