I’m also starting a shot glass collection (so far have Seattle and Philadelphia). Take a look at my wists for more stuff I like. Thanks if you pick me!

I claim AvianFlight for chunky/bulky yarn for a scarf and another surprise.
This is my 2nd claim, 1sent, 1 received.
Me-info:
I'm in Massachusetts, I do mostly knit, but I also crochet, spin, and used to cross-stitch, embroider and a little bit of tatting. I just ordered my first spinning wheel (hmmm, that sort of implies there's another one at some point....) I like the cooler colors (blues, purples, greens) but a little oomph of the red/orange/yellows doesn't hurt either.
My list, in no particular order -
small 'sling' purse
like this
this
preemie doll sewing pattern
this
wallet purse sewing pattern
Clay-decorated
crochet hook
teeny
bead-topped knitting needles
decorated ID badge reel like
this
(doesn't have to be clay-decorated, it was just the 1st pic I found)
A
shopping bag that folds into its own pouch
shawl pin
stitchmarkers for small needles (US size 3 or smaller)
Knitting row counters like
these
Thanks Estrata!
decorated note paper/stationery
ready-to-spin fiber (except silk)
wristlet pouch
book purse
small tote bag (6x6-ish, or smaller)
Thanks Heini!
cloth menstrual pads
cotton soap sack with handmade soaps
wallet purse like
this style
crocheted kippah in
this design
but in purples and/or blues
something from my etsy favorites

I claim YarnorThread for:
Knitting row counters
About me: I live in Madison, WI with my hubby and two cats. I do a lot of anime-style illustration work (I’m currently a freelance illustrator). The main things I do are sewing, knitting, and woodworking, but I’m always up for something new! I don’t have much money, so if I see something I like I’ll usually try to make it (I’ll also love anyone who sends me their old supplies they don't need!)
I like earthy colors – greens, browns, rusty reds. I’m also super tall (6’3”) if that makes any difference! ^_^
Wishlist (I’ve tried to keep it fairly open)
Craft Supplies
Japanese plushie sewing books (not felt plushies). I really want one of these but I have no clue which ones are good. I read Japanese so it doesn’t have to be super-easy to understand in English.
Fabric paints or screen printing kit.
Acrylic or Watercolor Paints.
Polymer Clay / PMC / beginners kit.
Box ‘o crafty supplies (inspiration box! ^_^) for jewelry, knitting/crochet, sewing, or basically anything (except scrap booking, lol).
Household Things (crafted or bought)
Attractive Storage boxes (for papers, DVDs, and craft supplies).
A bento box.
Asian/Nature themed serving bowl(s)
Other Items (crafted or bought)
Unusual hair barrette(s) (large enough to hold a ponytail)
Perdy Necklaces
Sewing Spool organizer
Anything somewhat useful with a cat theme!
Thank you in advance to whoever claims me!! ^_^

I claim Estrata for my interpretation of a box o' crafty supplies.
This is my first claim.
I live in IL, USA.
My name's Natalie, and I'm 23. I'm in library school, finally finding some time to craft again. I love corduroy, natural colors, and anything functional. I'm ridiculously obsessed with squirrels, and I'm madly in love with autumn. It's hard for me to list off my loves, so just ask.
I've listed my wishes in order of most desired.
Knit hat and/or gloves
to match the scarf I'm about to finish. I kinda like this
popcorn stitch hat
.
Black necklace
(see Wists)
Pillow covers
: I just bought two 16in x 16in pillow forms, and I'm not inspired to make my own covers.
Seat cushions
: I have four very beautiful but very hard dining room chairs that could use some cushy love. Perhaps with straps to tie them to the backs?
Wallet
: I'd like one with a vinyl window, zippered change pocket, credit card slots, and a long money slot. Fancy, I know!
Crochet capelet
(see Wists)
Large tote
: I have many plain totes that you can get free from just about anywhere, but not enough handmade with love ones. I like 'em big for when I return mounds of library books.
Ooh, a felted one with lining would be awesome!
Necklace holder
: Something to get them untangled and out of my drawer.
These are super-wishes; I'll add more later if I stall things.

I claim fadeawaydream for 2 16x16" pillow covers.
This is my 3rd claim, 2 sent, 1 received.
Here's some info about me:
I'm a grad student in art history, 31, living in North Carolina. I knit, sew and have been known to make books and paper. Before writing my dissertation disappeared my time and money, I considered myself a photographer and printmaker (letter press). My husband and I have chickens and hope someday to have a farm with a flock of sheep, some dairy goats, a mule, and lots of barn cats.
I love natural colors and materials, especially organic and sustainable. My house and person are done up in various shades of blues, greens, browns, and crème/white.
I love simple things with sleek lines. My style has been influenced by Minimalism (
http://www.chinati.org/
), the Bauhaus (
http://www.bauhaus.de
), and Frank Lloyd Wright (
http://www.taliesinpreservation.org/
).
I follow William Morris's maxim: Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful. Similarly, I appreciate the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic (
http://wabisabihouse.com/_wsn/page2.html
).
Here's my wishlist of lovely things (with bolded wishes that are xmas-related and therefore at the top of my list--but i'd be really happy with anything!)
KNITTING SUPPLIES
25-50 yds of fingering weight yarn in BLACK + 25-50 yds of fingering weight in WHITE [these yarn scraps are for the skull patterning in the jack sparrow socks, an Xmas present for my husband:
http://katydidknits.blogspot.com/2006/06/jack-sparrows-favorite-socks.html
, and I would really appreciate some help with these in time for the holidays!]
200-400 yds of soft yarn (worsted OR DK weight) for a beaded scarf, in a color to match peacock-color beads [the beads are shades of deep emerald green to teal-ish-blue]
enough of a soft, chunky / bulky weight yarn to make a regular-length scarf for my dad, in a dark neutral color (charcoal grey, dark blue, etc.)
thanks Avian Flight!
hemp yarn, any weight, any color
2000 matte beads in a natural color, size 4/0, to make a beaded wrap for my mom (
http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEspring06/PATTtendrils.html
)
stitch markers, perhaps like these:
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5032001§ion_id=5031385
thanks simplyfussfree!
sock needles (#1 or #2), row counter, needle sizer, pom pom maker
thanks ThreadorYarn!
handspun or hand-dyed yarn
bare yarn (any weight) and kool-aid for dying
drop spindle with a bit of roving and instructions
pre-used issues of Interweave Knits OR Vogue Knitting
Japanese knitting books
any modern knitting books: Fitted Knits, Stitch n’ Bitch (I have the first one, but none of the subsequent books), etc; anything Debbie Bliss, Jo Sharp, Norah Gaughan, Teva Durham, Blue Sky Alpacas, Wenlan Chia, etc.
if you happen to find it, book of knitted robot patterns by jess hutchinson (sadly out of print):
http://www.jesshutch.com/
this small zippered bag for carrying my supplies:
http://www.purlbee.com/mars-bias-purse-with-zipper/
or a larger one (9” x 6” or so)
SEWING SUPPLIES
several yards of unbleached canvas [I use this to stabilize bags and totes]
a collection of elegant 100% cotton fabrics from Amy Butler, Joel Dewberry, or similar: ½ yd cuts will do!
organic knit fabrics (jersey or interlock)
vintage fabrics
vintage buttons, especially larger ones
pre-used issues of BurdaMode
embroidery kit or book: Sublime Stitching,
http://www.sublimestitching.com/
OR Doodle-Stitching,
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=7024425
, OR The New Crewel
http://www.woolandhoop.com/crewelkits.html
OR Japanese embroidery books
OR an embroidery kit that you put together for me yourself, with instructions
OTHER NICE THINGS
embroidered things for kitchen and table: any of the following, or something you think of that i might be missing: tea towels, placemats, napkins, table runner or tablecloth
i would especially like embroidery like this (but anything you think i would like would be great):
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5073540§ion_id=5140124
OR
http://www.dreamfollow.com/gallery2.html
OR
http://www.woolandhoop.com/crewelkits.html
OR
http://www.purlbee.com/connect-the-dot-pillows/
[I have lovely everyday dishes (a wedding gift), but no nice table or kitchen linens! I would love some help building up a nice set.]
a tablecloth made out of French bistro-type dishtowels (in brown, red, green, blue, whatever), possibly embroidered as above [can’t seem to find a photo of this online—I saw it in Celine Dupuy’s Simple Sewing with a French Twist]
an embroidered pillow cover like this one:
http://www.purlbee.com/connect-the-dot-pillows/
[this pillow is 20” square, so the embroidery could be any size within that--I can set it into a pillow cover myself if you prefer]
an embroidered or appliquéd baby bib / onesie / other kind of baby gear for a friend’s new baby OR t-shirt / sweatshirt / dress, etc. for a 2-year girl (either same embroidery aesthetic as above OR, for appliqué or embroidery: robot, science, outer space, or farm theme)
a tie or t-shirt (size M) for my husband, or toddler-size t-shirt or baby onesie for my nieces with bizarre silkscreens / images / embroidery along these lines:
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=19623
OR
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=58778
a collection of handmade soaps, especially with natural ingredients like goat’s milk / vegan, etc.
a package of little earth-friendly things in a nice container: a beeswax candle, organic homemade soaps or lotions, herbal teas, lavender eye pillow, maybe something made of hemp or recycled materials, etc. (thanks to calluna for the idea for this one!)
a pincushion, maybe like this one:
http://www.purlbee.com/the-purl-bee/2007/9/8/arriving-at-purl-any-minute-now-last-minute-patchwork-quilte.html
handmade Xmas cards (screenprint, intaglio, handmade paper, sewn-on felt, rubber stamped, whatever) along these lines:
http://www.shopredbean.com/shop.html#
OR
http://shop.broadwaypaper.com/browse.cfm/2,785.html
OR anything elegant with “peace” as the message (blank is fine, too)
handbound journal OR 2008 weekly calendar (possible themes: any of the arts movements listed above (or others, like Art Deco or Art Nouveau), botanical, 19th century naturalist, desert, cowboy/cowgirl—i know, this doesn’t quite fit with the rest, but I’m from Texas!)
cooking or gardening journal (i love to cook and am learning to garden--it would be great to have a place to plan my spring garden, keep track of which seeds to order and how to care for plants, etc.)
hand-thrown green, brown, blue or purple ceramic bowls
hand-woven textiles of any kind
jewelry made of recycled china, like this:
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5089127§ion_id=5191338
OR
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5097131§ion_id=5136207

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=7131738
OR
http://theskein.com/storefront/product.php?productid=294&cat=4&page=1
Knitted Dalek like this for my Doctor-Who-loving dad:
http://www.entropyhouse.com/penwiper/who/extermaknit.html
[he would love the Dalek as is, but if possible it would be perfect if it could be made left unstuffed and slightly modified to work as a french-press cozy!)
knitted robot from jess hutchinson's book of knitted robot patterns (sadly out of print):
http://www.jesshutch.com/
amigurumi robot, dalek, farm animal set, or cactus / cactii
OR anything you can craft that you think i would like based on my wishes or my wists:
http://www.wists.com/oneredboot

I claim oneredboot for: this small zippered bag for carrying my supplies:
http://www.purlbee.com/mars-bias-purse-with-zipper/
or a larger one (9” x 6” or so)
List in a minute
This is my fourth claim, 2 sent, 1 received.
I am in Georgia.
I love blues, greens, browns and reds. I have a strong dislike for anything pastel. I love patchwork and scrappy designs.
Here is my wishlist:
Handmade soaps for my FIL and BIL’s (3) Christmas present! I have made them Dop Kits and would love to have some yummy smelling soaps to put in them!
Embroidered tea towels for my new house! Anything freehand or random would be great. PM me for more specifics on color, etc.
Decorated (painted, decoupage, etc…) single and double light switch plate covers. We are moving into a 101 year old house and ALL the fixtures are brass or gold colored. And they are ALL coming down.
Cotton fabric!! Just about anything is fine as long as it is not childish/babyish. All colors are good with me!
Thank you vala_amaris!
Cotton and Cotton Batik scraps (no smaller than 2”)
Thank you vala_amaris!
Velvet, any color. I have recently discovered the joy of stamping velvet!!
Fun Stitch Markers
Thank you Simplyfussfree!
A “learn to embroider” kit. I would love to try but I have no clue where to start!
A table runner like the one on my wist for my dining room table. It doesn’t need to hang over the ends, just sit in the middle.
Anything with an octopus on it for my brother
Thank you Simplyfussfree!
An apron – something funky!! I have a patchwork one on my wist that I LOVE!!!!
Ceramic bowls or unique pieces in browns and blue
Also see my wists:
http://www.wists.com/mimiw
About me:
My name is Mimi and I am 30 years old. My husband recently got transferred to Augusta, GA for work and I am trying to finish up the sale of our house in Charleston, SC and move everything to Augusta. I have 2 dogs, Zuma and Hail, who I treat like my children. I sew just about every day. I also crochet, paper craft and paint. I love nature and nature inspired things…and I have a ridiculous fabric fetish.

I claim mimiw for
Ceramic bowls or unique pieces in browns and blue
This is my first claim (0 sent, 0 received).
I am in Virginia. I'm vegetarian, and I'm not fond of leather or gelatin. Wool's good, though!
My list:
1.
I would sell my soul for a Trasformers Toque
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=197767.0
I know it's a big wish, but I have to put it out there in case some knitter would have fun making it. It would make absolutely the best Christmas gift, but I couldn't make it myself because I barely know how to do basic knit stitches.
2. Necklace(s)--I love them, and it's safe for me to wear them at work now, so I'm excited to get some more. I especially love pendants on chains right now.
3. Pin(s)! Love those, too.
Sweater season has started, and I love wearing pins with twinset cardigans.
4. A funky throw pillow cover. I'd love something with dark green, deep red, and/or deep goldish-brown. I'd love something really attractive to replace the old patchwork pillow cover that's falling apart.
5. A pair of mittens. I like to wear mittens on top of my gloves on cold days. PM for measurements.
I hope that's enough for now!
Thanks in advance to the person who picks me!

I claim cindy_23492 for some 1 inch buttons.
This is my 4rd claim, 1 sent, and 2 rec'd in this round of OWS.
Hi! I’m CrossStitchinMomma and I’m live in Tennessee (USA). I’m a married 25 year old SAHM of one. I’m originally from England so any British candy (if you’d like to know what types please PM me!) would be welcome as I can’t get it over here! I love anything to do with Victorian or Tudor England. I love to knit. I know how to cross stitch but it generally takes a long time and I like finishing things quickly. I just bought a computerized sewing machine but it is super intimidating to me so I haven’t really used it yet but I’d love to learn how to sew. Anything from my wist would be great too!!!
Supplies:
Cross Stitch:
BIG HUGE WISH
- 11 count colored (it has to be colored - either blue or pink possibly other colors would work too Please PM me...) aida cloth (this is a present for my great grandmother who has bad eyesight but loves to cross stitch - as its a gift please make sure that the aida is in an unopened package) I can't find colored Aida anywhere and I need to send it out for Christmas soon as its going to England. If possible I would like at least one but more than one would be absolutely fantastic!!!
Knitting:
Some yarn that is in these colors...the rainbow colors, or the black, blue and purple or the "Mixed Berries"
http://getknitted.com/acatalog/Shepherd_Sock.html
Some skeins of any soft good quality yarn you can find (my favorite colors are black, purple and I like the rainbow colored yarns too – but any color will do as long as its not turquoise, yellow, orange or anything neon – yuck!)
Thanks Grieney!
I’d like to learn how to knit cables so some cable knitting supplies would be great.
As always needles are great! I LOVE bamboo knitting needles!!! I bought a pair of bamboo circs and I love them!
Thanks DragonflyDucky - she got me a whole set !!!
I'd like some yarn like this
https://www.shopatron.com/product/part_number=MM/570.0.24215.0.0.0.0
or the Chocolate Cherry color from
http://www.claudiaco.com/
<------I would just asolutely love love love to get some of this or another yarn with the same colors(enough to make some fingerless gloves)!
Thanks Dulcinea!
Some beautiful hand dyed yarn with different colors.
Patons Cashmere, Soy Silk, or Wool (please PM me for colors but pretty much anything would be okay)
Any other brand of wool (i.e. Lions Wool, etc) would be great too but again please PM for colors.
Some Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted Yarn for my upcoming project (the Celtic Tote from IK Winter 07) - Please PM me for colors as I'm not quite sure what color I'm making it yet...
Sewing:
If you could find anything with British flags on it that would super great.
Anything with Victorian ladies on it would be great too.
I would LOVE anything with Asian stuff or geishas.
Thanks KittyKill!
I’d like some cute hippie/vintage patterns.

Some of these socks -
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-firestarter
A cute purse with some sort of Irish theme for my best friend who loves Ireland and has a purse obsession. 4-leaf clovers or the word Ireland on something is usually what she likes the best. Maybe a green cordorouy purse with Ireland on it or something like that. PM me for ideas!
The amigurumi butterfly girl shown here -

BIG HUGE WISH
I would love some of these for my hubby! He'll be working in the cold this winter and he loves to listen to music while he's working. Just some handmade earmuffs like this with a spot to put some earbuds or something would be freaking awesome!!!! Black & gray would be fine.
http://www.hammacher.com/publish/72714.asp?promo=el_audio
BIG WISH ALERT! I would love this but in a different fabric...just plain black fabric would be great! I would just totally love to have this! This would be perfect to organize the stuff in my computer area!
http://www.woolybully.com/poppins.php
Thanks farmgirljane!
A bookweight (sorry this is the only example I could find might be filled with that heavy stuff that stuffies are filled with - not sure what its called exactly)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/ysoldateague/446404291
/ Thanks Estrata!
I saw this on another wist and I am totally in love with it! I would like one but in black or dark purple material.
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6394690
Thanks Vala_amaris!
I would love one of these (in black & with the oriental theme would be nice) -
http://www.lanternmoon.com/SNC.asp
A Drop-In or Small Purseket (in cute retro fabric or just plain black or purple would be best) -
http://www.purseket.com/index.php/cPath/index.php?target=categories&category_id=4

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6799098
I’d love just the British Charm (I love this too!)
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6732827
Thanks Estrata!
I'd love anything that would help me to organize my small house. I have alot of stuff and hardly anywhere to put it all. Areas that are most in need of organization: My computer desk...its where I spend all my time! I have a lot of crafty stuff but no where to put it.
A mail/bill organizer or a desk organizer with places to put pens, store paper, etc. Something that has at least a few pockets for mail and pens and is long and magnetic. I was thinking maybe something like the beside caddy looking only longer and with more pockets (or like the wall organizer but smaller and thinner with super strong magnets) If you're interested in making this I can go into more detail if you PM me.
If someone knows how to make a lapdesk and would like to make one for me or my son that would be wonderful. They sell these for like $10 at Hobby Lobby too if you need to see what they look like. Theres a pic on this link too - If you are wondering what a lapdesk is its this thing (it doesn't need to have a cup holder and just plain material would be fine)...
http://img.inkfrog.com/click_enlarge1.php?image=ldparislg_(Small).JPG&username=sharps_container_supply&aid=13168672
A pretty coupon organizer would be great too but in a nice fabric not that ugly stuff with fruit all over it. I want it to be stylish and big enough so that I won't loose it but small enough to fit in my purse.
Thanks hdcase!
A crocheted table runner similar to this one in black
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=108428.msg1032287#msg1032287
...it doesn't have to be the same design it can be all circles if you want...in fact I think I would prefer all circles but whatever is fine!
Some black and white photographs of old English churches or houses (preferably the ones made of stone or houses with thatched roofs). I know this one is a long shot but I can dream! Just so you get an idea I’d like them all to be relatively uniform because I want a set of 3 to 5 to put in a photograph cluster on my wall. Here are a few examples:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=7122617
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=7067967
Thanks purpleone!
Misc. Wish List -
A DIY beginner yarn dying kit. A yarn dying how to book would be great too. I love all of these hand dyed yarns that are so beautiful and I'd love to give it a try!
A beginner amigurumi kit. Crochet would be okay as I am learning but if you have any patterns for a knit amigurumi that would be great too!
A little devil amigurumi kit (or it would be nice if someone could just make me the little devil amigurumi!).
Wallflowers (refills or starter kits) from Bath & Body Works - Any scent is good but just not Fig, Cinnamon or anything spicy smelling. I like anything with vanilla the best.
My son is 2 years old and he loves anything with Bob the Builder. He also loves trucks and motorcycles.
My son also LOVES Playdoh! So anything Playdoh would be great (preferably not used playdoh as it gets dried out quickly). He's been wanting one of the playdoh presses that squeeze the playdoh out or some plastic cookie cutter things that make shapes in the playdoh. Thanks and more is always welcome.
Thanks in advance to anyone who picks anything from my list!!!
