I pick Dulcinea for a pair of patchwork jeans from her wist!  This should be fun!

I live in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA.  I am a 40-ish (emphasis on "ish") year old, under-cover hippy freak mother of two boys ages 9 and 11.  I love chain maille, wire-wrapped pendants, long skirts, embellished jeans, hoodies, boots (I love boots!  I own over 30 pairs!)  My favorite themes would be nature, birds, dragons, mermaids, and fairies.  I love white, black and red.  Not into pastels or frills!

another big wish - the pants from Burda Pattern number 8316 - they're a pair of pants that I love - view A (long, not crops) in the smallest size (and we can talk about sizing) (I can provide pattern and fabric, I just need someone who's a better sewer than I to actually make 'em)

and if i stall out the swap, someone yell at me, and i'll add more stuff.

... right... about me.  I'm the REALLY old lady in the crowd (even older since my last b'day, but i haven't hit 50 yet!), the one peering over the bifocals.  I have 2 teenagers, 1 of whom lives at home, and my day job is a computer programmer.  I have no allergies, no issues with animal products, would prefer to avoid religion/religious articles and politics at all costs.... my favorite colors are the jewel tones, think ruby, sapphire, emerald... i don't do terribly well with pastels.  We live in an apartment, where space is always at a premium... so small things that sit on tables and shelves and don't do anything except collect dust aren't a great thing here.

Thanks in advance to anyone who chooses me

Hi! Im CrossStitchinMomma and Im live in Tennessee (USA). Im a married 25 year old SAHM of one. Im originally from England so any British candy (if youd like to know what types please PM me!) would be welcome as I cant get it over here! I love anything to do with Victorian or Tudor England. BIG HUGE WISH! I would love some of these for my hubby! He'll be working in the cold this winter and he loves to listen to music while he's working. Just some handmade earmuffs like this with a spot to put some earbuds or something would be freaking awesome!!!! Black & gray would be fine. He also likes dark green too. http://www.hammacher.com/publish/72714.asp?promo=el_audio

BIG WISH ALERT! I would love this but in a different fabric...just plain black fabric would be great! I would just totally love to have this! This would be perfect to organize the stuff in my computer area! http://www.woolybully.com/poppins.php Thanks farmgirljane!

Id love just the British Charm (I love this too!) http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6732827

I'd love anything that would help me to organize my small house. I have alot of stuff and hardly anywhere to put it all. Areas that are most in need of organization: My computer desk...its where I spend all my time! I have a lot of crafty stuff but no where to put it.

A mail/bill organizer or a desk organizer with places to put pens, store paper, etc. Something that has at least a few pockets for mail and pens and is long and magnetic. If you're interested in making this I can go into more detail if you PM me.   Smiley

If someone knows how to make a lapdesk and would like to make one for me or my son that would be wonderful. They sell these for like $10 at Hobby Lobby too. If you are wondering what a lapdesk is its this thing (it doesn't need to have a cup holder and just plain material would be fine)...http://img.inkfrog.com/click_enlarge1.php?image=ldparislg_(Small).JPG&username=sharps_container_supply&aid=13168672

A pretty coupon organizer would be great too but in a nice fabric not that ugly stuff with fruit all over it. I want it to be stylish and big enough so that I won't loose it but small enough to fit in my purse. Thanks hdcase!

A crocheted table runner similar to this one in black http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=108428.msg1032287#msg1032287
...it doesn't have to be the same design it can be all circles if you want...in fact I think I would prefer all circles but whatever is fine!

Some black and white photographs of old English churches or houses (preferably the ones made of stone or houses with thatched roofs). I know this one is a long shot but I can dream! Just so you get an idea Id like them all to be relatively uniform because I want a set of 3 to 5 to put in a photograph cluster on my wall. Here are a few examples:

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=7122617
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=7067967
Thanks purpleone!

Misc. Wish List -

A DIY beginner yarn dying kit. A yarn dying how to book would be great too. I love all of these hand dyed yarns that are so beautiful and I'd love to give it a try!

A beginner amigurumi kit. Crochet would be okay as I am learning but if you have any patterns for a knit amigurumi that would be great too!

A little devil amigurumi kit (or it would be nice if someone could just make me the little devil amigurumi!).

Wallflowers (refills or starter kits) from Bath & Body Works - Any scent is good but just not Fig, Cinnamon or anything spicy smelling. I like anything with vanilla the best.

My son is 2 years old and he loves anything with Bob the Builder. He also loves trucks and motorcycles.

My son also LOVES Playdoh! So anything Playdoh would be great (preferably not used playdoh as it gets dried out quickly). He's been wanting one of the playdoh presses that squeeze the playdoh out or some plastic cookie cutter things that make shapes in the playdoh.

Thanks in advance to anyone who picks anything from my list!!!

Hey. You may want to post a link to your Wists, unless it's there and I've missed it.

I claim farmgirljane for 24-hour crochet projects from her wist.

this is my 3rd claim, 1 ordered, 1 to work on this weekend, and I"m in Wisconsin.

wish list (really big wishes in bold red)!

KNITTED AND CROCHETED THINGS:

Purple and white, thick gloves (not mittens, please) or fingerless mitts in purple - I had gotten a pair of gloves that appear to be out of something similar to peaches n cream, in purple and white stripes, and one got lost.... and I could really use something to keep my hands warm for the october football games and still let me take pictures!

this felted backgammon board (or something similar)  http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/na_knitting/article/0,2025,DIY_14141_5311864,00.html

i love this felted bag - but i've never tried the double knitting
http://www.talklikeapirate.com/knitlikeapirate.html

the felted monster slippers in the SNB book?

SEWN THINGS:
a flamenco skirt like this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=3905.msg29436#msg29436

a corset top - the kind with the mini-hooks up the front?  I have one, and i love it, would love another one!

can anyone figure out how to make a shrug jacket like this?  I LOVE this jacket, but this is the only picture I have of it
http://www.wists.com/Dulcinea/7e8bc1ec576c4d291d9c7cd844f89887?offset=40

another big wish - the pants from Burda Pattern number 8316 - they're a pair of pants that I love - view A (long, not crops) in the smallest size (and we can talk about sizing) (I can provide pattern and fabric, I just need someone who's a better sewer than I to actually make 'em)

I love this corset top - can even send the fabric for it!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=127920.msg1283107#msg1283107

this skirt - anyone think they can find a pattern and make one?  it doesn't need to be so long... mid-calf would be perfect
http://www.shukronline.com/wt3601.html

If anyone loves to sew, I love this skirt!  would love a soft drapey sort of fabric
http://www.garnethill.com/jump.jsp?itemID=12386&itemType=PRODUCT&path=1%2C2%2C4477%2C9140%2C9143&iProductID=12386

a shirt like this, but long enough to tuck in - PM for sizing, please
http://www.kambriel.com/topwhite.html

pattern for the Amy Butler Weekender bag? (unless someone wanted to make one for me?

i love the idea of this comic book clutch... anyone want to give it a try?

something inspired by my wist  http://www.wists.com/Dulcinea

and if i stall out the swap, someone yell at me, and i'll add more stuff.

... right...
