I made these for two little girls to put library books in. There is a pocket on the front where the monogram is that can hold the library card. They wanted something really girly "like hearts or flowers" (which I found) and one wanted purple and the other pink. I hope they like them! The finished size is 14" wide by 15" tall and a 4" gusset at the bottom.

Awwwww... those are so sweet.  I love the idea of the pocket for the library card.  Very, very cute!!  I love it!!

Those are so cute.  Great that you found a fabric you could use the pink and purple with.  My sister and I would have loved those when we were young, the same - yet different.  I know they will be thrilled with them.

Me too!  I walk to and from the library.  A bag like this would be great.  You should try to sell them at the library, lol.  Smiley
