The wenchiest of the faeries!

So, I was watching Martha Stewart last week, and she and a guest carved Celtic knots on 'funkins'-fake pumpkins. Now, I live in an apartment, so a real pumpkin isn't very practical for me. So I went on down to my local Michaels and picked one up and set to work. Two days, a plethora of tools (including, but not limited to, a regular pumpkin carving knife, a motorized pumpkin carving knife, and a dremel tool), and some glue (unfortunate accidents) later, I have the coolest thing I've ever made.

Here it is unlit, a little rough looking, but still cool:

And lit with an eerie light (actually my iPod with the backlight's brightness turned all of the way up):

SO HAPPY WITH IT. I think this is going to start a post Hallowe'en fake-food carving extravaganza!

Awesome! I love the triquetra symbol and its meaning. Very well done. Smiley
