So, for English, we have a project to create a board game for Shakespeare's The Tempest and I'm at a total loss for what to do! I have a partner, but we need to come up with an idea for not only rules for the game but an actual board as well. The game can be loosely based off another game, but it's better if it's not. Does anyone have any ideas as to some rules for some not very well known board games that could be adapted to The Tempest or any ideas as to how to make the board?

I had to do one of these once... Ok, so basicly build 4 "TYPES" of question cards... like:

Characters, Story, Author and Origin

So you would have questions about those things, like: 'Name three of the key characters' or something.

then you would make a wacky shaped board that has different squares  like: answer a Character Question, BONUS POINT or Lose A Point

And It would work on a Point system, answer the question correctly, get a point... First person to say 20 points win... when I did this I had to do it for Music, My game was Called Musical Monkey... you could play as any of the 6 Monkeys... Monkey (just a regular monkey), Girl Monkey (Monkey in a skirt), Sir Monkey Esq. (Monkey With a top hat and Monocle), Punkey (Monkey With A Mohawk), Gene Simian (Gene Simmons face paint), or Emo-nkey (Emo Monkey)
And instead of points, I had banana's... It was a cool game... I miss it
