Presenting Juliet!  Grin

and a close-up of the bottons

Pattern: Zephyr's Juliet
Yarn: 6 skeins of Filatura di Crosa Andina Mix
Buttons: M&J Trimmings in NYC - finally an excuse to buy something from there!

generally, this was a good pattern and came together easily.  i'm not exactly a beginner, but i haven't managed to make a garment yet that i actually wear - until now!  this also seems like it would be easy enough to modify.  i can see myself making another with long sleeves and no lace pattern.

oh, and the buttons are evenly spaced, even though it doesn't look like it.  the garter stitch really stretches.  i'm wondering, should i redo them, or just leave them as is?

thanks for looking!

That is gorgeous! I just love how the buttons are off-set from each other. Great job! Grin

I love this sweater. I love the buttons, how they are offset and just how pretty they are. I also think the variegation of the yarn is so subtle and lovely in this pattern.

Very pretty! And very nice design, the yarn color, the buttons, and the different knitting stitches used all goes so well together. I may have to check that pattern out.

Oh, you just made me reconsider this pattern. It looks adorable.
I'm just a little unsure on the chunky yarn idea, since I am of a chunkier size myself....has me a little nervous Smiley Did you have to go down a size like most others have?

I love this in neutrals!  I was a little *meh* in colors because of the simple design, but neutrals I love.

If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.

I love your "Juliet" - I had to buy the pattern after I saw this post.  Thanks!

I second "Scarletstorm's" question about sizing - I didn't realize others had to go down a size, so before I start, I am curious about your reply.

Beautiful choice of yarn!
