one of the greatest things about japan is the array of kit kat flavours that there are!  just today i saw chestnut.  for my little cousins' christmas presents i am sending them every single flavour that i can find.

the yuckiest one that i ever had was apple....dunno know why it was so gross, but it was.

here are the packages i received:

from lovely_gangster:

this is all that's left. My kiddies ate all the cookies and I ate all the cadbury! Here is a Cleo magazine and a beautiful handmade matryoshka doll.

from purpleone:

i also ate all the candy, but there's lots of little trinkets to look at:
tea, gold findings, kitschy beads (my favorite are the little matryoshka charms), buttons, fabric, guitar picks, powdered candy in fruit shaped containers (the powder's gone now), and the best hot cocoas ever!

I received from cfbandit today!
She send me lovely wool for spinning:

First, there is some lovely brown shetland wool (well not some, but rather A LOT - 6ounces). It has a lovely chocolate brown colour, I tried to capture the colour in the following photo but it's a much warmer brown than it looks like here.

And she send me 2ounces of blue dyed merino which is really soft. And as an extra there were light blue lincoln locks to spin in!
Isn't that a great package?
Thanks you so much cfbandit!  Grin

I got an awesome Japanese package from TracyTremble yesterday!! Here it is in it's packagy goodness:

Box of squid!

Candy, bunny chopsticks, and stickers!

Genuine Japanese Hello Kitty Cheesy

SUPER cute fabric and buttons!

Local art! Including some Cepholopod postcards drawn by Faith!

A closer version of my Cepphie cards, a coloring/notebook, and what I really truly needed this month, a desk calendar!!!

Thank you so much Faith, I needed that package yesterday! I almost didn't see it -- When I got home from work it was covered in 5 inches of snow on my porch, it just looked like a hill of snow Cheesy
