Hello again everyone! Here is another box. I made this one for our own Craftster Assistant Admin Sweets4ever. She was recently married and this is a wedding present.

Here is the top.
Her wedding colors were red and black. Elephants hold a special significance to her so I was psyched to be able to include it on the box!

On the top, I tried to use only pointy shaped glass with the points pointing away from the elephant. I was hoping it would look like sun rays or something radiating from the elephant.

Here is a shot of the front.
You can see that I put little feet on the box. Those are just glass marbles or globs.

The inside of the box.
Sweet's wedding dress had this gorgeous embroidery along the hem, front, and train. The flocking in this fabric is a nod to that embroidery.

I have a rough rough version of a box like this that I keep my wedding rings in while I am doing messy crafts. That way I have a designated place for them and I won't lose them. With that in mind I thought this would be a great wedding present for her.  Smiley

what a beautiful and thoughtful gift! such a great idea to have a place to stash your rings while crafting--i always stick mine in a pocket and *hope* i don't forget them. and i love elephants too, so bonus points for that. Wink
