I present to you my first quilt. I took inspiration from a quilt I have found here, called the lavender quilt if I remember correctly. It is machine quilted even though I now wished I would have gone the hand quilted way. Quilting such a big piece on a home machine, even with a walking foot, is pretty hard. I made a little tag on the back out of remenant linen I had lying around. Here are the pictures:

Oh my goodness ... this is gorgeous!  I so wish I could quilt.  And that embroidery on the tag is amazing!  Absolutely beautiful work!

Yes it's hand embroidered, the font was taken from dafont.com, I had to find my old and dusty embroidery hoops that had been forgotten Wink
