inspiration taken from the "elfin hat" in the fall interweave knits. but i prefer bottom-up construction so i reversed it (hence "nifle")... i also changed the colour/yarn and the lace pattern. but tried to keep it looking like the original hat because i think its adorable

i cast on in class on monday and finished the pompom and finishing on wednesday (today)... very fulfilling quick knit. oh and it's red heart soft so very comfy.

what do you think?

That's really neat! (Especially like the pic with the hubby modelling) ... I like the colors and the clever way you reversed the name!
