yep, I must give in... I decided to learn how to crochet because I wanted to try amigurumis Tongue then I saw PepperKitty's Octopode Pandemonium's post and just needed to try it. I looked for some orange yarn but no good, in my city there are just a few places where you can buy only few types of yarn for knitting or crocheting, so I decided on some shiny greenish yarn because... I would try a mimetic octopuss  Grin

as I went on crocheting, a friend said it looked like an alien, and in fact it ressembled the alien squirrel by Glee, so I tried on some alien felt eyes. I think it suits my octopode perfectly, now I must look for some shiny buttons like Glee's and change the felt ones, for the final touch

now with the pics. in all its alien glory

landing on my head Grin

discovering human habits: coffee!!

making first acquaintances on earth

rawwwr!!! defending from curious kitty sniffing!

and lastly, having a ride with the new friends Grin

hope you liked it! my cats did Grin
