Thanks! I love American Apparel--even after reading that article in Jane a year or so ago about how sleazy and creepy the president of that company is (Did anyone else read that?!).

Ha, I loved that article!  Didn't he spontaneously start to masturbate during the interview?  Such a creepy guy but American Apparel is way awesome.

I love the simplicity of your shirt, and the pink color Smiley

Yes, apparently he is quite the spontaneous masturbator!

I did not read that, but I have noted that their advertising is obnoxious and disguisting. Consistently. See back of Onion for details.
Moral of the story: It's better to exploit exotic models than poor orphans.

Incidentally, the Jane article divulged that he uses his own employees--NOT models or orphans--in the ads. Just a lucky guy, I guess, to have hired so many hot professional women who are willing to get naked for their boss!

Anyway, it's still a great option.

i was referring to poor orphans who would work in sweatshops, which american apparel does not use.

i remember a little while back there was a series of ads introducing the models by their position at the company. sometimes with barely a thread of clothing in the pictures.

don't get me wrong, i think the concept of the company is great and i like their clothes, but their advertising really irks me. its so yucky. since i read the onion religiously, i see every new american apparel ad! and every time i get all excited that they are so cool for being anti-sweatshop, i get sad because i don't like the way they represent themselves. i am kind of surprised i'm the only one! but still, i agree that they are a good company to buy from.

i am about to run off and check out that jane article. it sounds like a good read!

That's great! Tongue

What kind of transfer paper did you use?  And how did you make it so there's no gross background stuff behind the words?
