would this be very difficult for a beginner? i'm looking for something to make my boyfriend for christmas, and this is exactly something he'd wear. if not for a beginner, if i started knitting now, would i be able to do it by christmas?

this is definately something a beginner could do.... its just switching colors every 2nd stitch. very easy.... try it out.

Hi!  I just stumbled across this pattern on Ravelry, and LOVE it!  Thank-you so much for sharing this.  I have yet to read the pattern through with any thought since it's late and I *should* be sleeping.  Looks like I'll have a lot of fun with this though.  Love the Skullfinity too!  I have a skirt made from that fabric, and it's one of my favorites.  I'll post here when I make the hat.  Smiley
