I love my printer

I love my printer. I can print right on the page -- up to 13" and it makes me sooo happy, since I hate my own handwriting but love to journal (in short bits). It also prints lovely lovely lovely photos. My posted picture is a bit blurry, but it really is sharp!

You have an eye for design and the little girl is just SO adorable.  I think I love your printer, too.  What is journaling, by the way?  Is that kind of like scrapbooking?

By journaling I simply mean what you write on your scrapbook page. I am sure that years from now, the things I write down should help me remember as much as the pictures do.

My printer is an HP Photosmart 8750. It prints up to 13"x19" borderless. I haven't yet printed out any pictures that large ... I am waiting for the right image, and, well, the right frame. I can't see printing out something that big just to have it sit on my desk until I find the right frame. I'm sure there are custom-made frame places here (in Japan), but I'm not sure I'm willing to pay what it could end up costing.

For this layout, all the text was printed directly on the red cardstock (approx: 11"x12"), and then I built up from there. I know it's hard to tell, but my photos were from an older digital camera and they still came out beautiful -- even the largest one.

Wow, that's amazing.  I usually print my journaling out on vellum and then tack it to the background paper, but I love your idea!

oh i so agree - i share the love for printers! this page is simple but gorgeous, and i admire the touch of journalling. i find it so hard to do sometimes, but it makes it easier when you have a cool font!  a really good job.
