Okay...better late than never.  Here are a couple of scarves I started almost a year ago, and just finished up (yay for finishing what you've started! Wink)

I popped my "Noro-Cherry" with this Stitch 'n Bitch scarf pattern:

My kitty, Callie Jo, wanted in this frame:

Paton's Soy Stripes:

First successful fingerless mitts in the round--the thumb gussett was always a struggle for me, but I finally had success:

Thank you!!!

Those scarves are gorgeous, and I feel your thumb gusset pain. What a pretty kitty!

Thanks for the compliments on my kitty!  She's a former stray, and every night at bedtime she lays on my tummy (before we fall asleep) and touches my cheek w/ her paw (sans claws).  OT, I know, but strays make the best pets!  Grin

"Mom's Sophisticated Scarf" from Stich 'n Bitch Nation
The yarn is Silk & Mohair and cost lotsa $, so I only got 3 skeins.  Mistake: should've got 4 skeins.  It's a little short, so that's why I added long fringe.

These are great! Would you mind sharing where you got the pattern for the fingerless gloves? I've been looking for a basic pattern to learn to use dpns with, but the only ones I can find have cables in them. I like cables, they're fun to knit, but I really just want a simple pattern. Thanks!

Sure, eatyerhartout, the pattern is "Fingerless Mittens" from One Skein Wonders, pg. 91.  I modified the pattern a little bit: made them bigger around, extended the thumb and the part that covers the fingers.  I highly recommend this is as a good, basic pattern for in-the-round, fingerless gloves.
