Wow! This is gorgeous and something to aspire to. With that in mind, I found a pattern here:

that I think is the same (or very similar). I've wanted to learn filet crochet, and this pattern might be the one that actually gets me to do it!

Thanks everyone! It took me about 6 or 8 weeks but I took it everywhere with me and worked on it every time I had a few minutes to spare.

craftADDchick, that does look like the same pattern. I've got it and the others on that page in a book called "Crochet Filet Afghans".

wow!! i just started crocheting about 6 weeks ago and I am sooo aspiring to make something like that.
