Sorry, that might've been in poor taste.

I made this with Cascade 220 while watching the Heroes season 1 marathon on G4:

This pattern is inspired by Malinki's hat. My cousin asked for Hello Kitty ears for her Halloween costume, so I made ones that could be wrapped around a headband (lengthwise).

I knit a strip of stockinette in white, and then picked up stitches and crocheted the ears (using a size F 3.75mm hook) in single crochet, decreasing at the beginning and end of every row. (I worked one row even to begin with, and somewhere later I worked a row even towards the end.) Then I made two small strips of stockinette (with garter around the edges to keep from curling), wrapped one around the other, and then attached it using a giant loopless safety pin.

I hope she likes it. If not, then I like it Smiley

Now I have an image of sylar in a hello kitty costume.  Huh I might never be able to take him seriously again.

Do you think we could knit Zach Quinto some ears...? Smiley This makes me want to start a Heroes KAL or something. But what would we make? Claire's cheerleader costume?

Thanks for all the comments, everyone!

I know there's a board on the Ravelry Heroes group for it. I'd love to start one, except I'm in the midst of Christmas presents right now Smiley
