My vote is for the grape and then the raspberry.  I think it looks pretty neat!

I like the lemon and tamarind.

How does dying with kool-aid work? i've never done it before.  Do the colors bleed?

i personally GREATLY prefer it how it is...

all of the over-dyes look, well, over-dyed....but thats just me....

it may look bad in person, but the pic you showed looks lovely, and usually i am into bright colors and bold statements, but all the colors underneath come through, and it just doesnt look right to me

Hey, it looks really great the way it is.. IMO.  I'd say Lemonade or Tamarind.. If you must make me choose.

I don't know why Tamarind is old lady friendly, as others have stated, but it just is.
The colour struck me as the most warm and gorgeous. Strawberry came in second.

Lemonade for me!  ...I mean, for your grandmother... yeah... Fabulous job!  You could always go the eeny-meeny-miney-mo route, and just pick a warm tone if she has brown/hazel eyes, and one of the cooler tones if she has blue eyes. If she has one of each, well... dye one half warm, and the other half cool.    Roll Eyes

I have an ingenius idea....why don't you take the photo of all 5 swatches, email it to granny and let her decide?

The overall product would remain a surprise, and you'd know for SURE which would delight her most.

Just a suggestion...
