I got this yarn on a trade - my daughter bought it, didn't want it, wanted something else, so i bought her something else, and then got this yarn - some Canadian Cottage Craft wool, i think.

Anyway, it's finally done, as of this morning - I think it took about 5 weeks, total (when you include a full time job and raising the kid who's still at home)

Pattern:  http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/tempest/tempest.html

I'm just really glad to have done it to completion - now, to wear it Monday to show the folks that have been watching the progress on this!

Thanks, fellow crafters....  I have to admit, it was a great feeling to have finished it (I don't make so many things for myself, they're usually for other people!)

I like it. It reminds me of Professor Trelawney from Harry Potter. I never make anything for myself, either, so I understand how satisfying finishing something for yourself is.

If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.
