This is my very first knit project! I used a round loom, the green one by Knifty Knitter and some Lion Brand's Homespun yarn called Fiesta. It turned out pretty well but I want the rows to be closer together next time. Thanks for looking!

Please ignore my wench chemise. Smiley

Cute! I like the yarn. I've never used a Knifty Knitter, but I guess if you wanted the stitches/rows closer together you would use thicker yarn.

Thanks! I was thinking something similar but it helps to hear it from a pro. Cheesy

A pro lol!!! Thank you but a professional I'm not! Oh, don't forget you can always use multiple strands of yarn to make it thicker, and you can mix different types/colours of yarn for a variegated effect.

PS, I like the wench chemise too, I have one just like it!

If you want the rows closer together on the knifty knitter you can either use thicker yarn of you can double up the strands and use two.

Ooooh!  I love it!

I'm still half-learning to use mine.  I made a hat for a baby last year, but it felt like it took forever.  You've inspired me to try again. Smiley

You used a round loom, Sweets? It may not be as fast as needles but it seemed to go quickly. I think after you concentrate the first time you can watch movies, TV, etc while you work on it.
