OK I didn't really but it feels like i did!!

This sweater is an altered version of a s'n'b pattern, (I'm allowed to abbreviate it, right?).  I'm at work so I can't look up the actual name.

Anyhow, it's a thick red mohair and about halfway through the sweater i thought that i had better do something to break up the red or I'd feel like a fuzzy red Muppet.  I raided the stash and found one 1/4 ball of black alpaca and one of very thin purple mohair.  The body's done in the round, separated out on straight needles and the arms are knitted separately.  It's done on size 13's and is really warm.

More fabulous bathroom shots!

Thanks for looking!!

i very like the stripes in the middle- it really does make it look less like a muppet and more fun/retro. awesome idea!

I like the stripes!

My friend had a fuzzy red sweater that she used to call her "elmo pelt".   Then she had to dress like a saint for All Saints' Day and she went as "St. Elmo" in that sweater.
