Hello all,
I'm new here so I thought I'd post up a few bits and say hello  Smiley

Here's some recent clay stuff myself and husband have made:

This first one was completed in the summer by my husband. A friend of ours turned 21 and we wanted to give her a gift that was a bit different so decided upon a model of her  Smiley

This is the photo he worked off:

And this is the finished model, she measures 18cm from the bottom of her trainers to the tip of her dreads. He left off facial features as they ruined the likeness:

Also here's a pic of beads I make for my hair:

That's about it for now.
Thanks for looking,
Lu. Xx

Cool!  I would totally love it if one of my friends gave me that!  And funky hair beads too

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.

Heh he  Smiley That's not me in the picture, that's kim. Her dreads are not real, they're made by me (I do synthetic hair design, see 'The SouK' link in my sig for more info). That's me in my avatar pic though  Smiley

She is spinning poi in the picture. My husband and I work for a site that teaches this circus skill (you may know it as 'fire spinning').

For more info, here's one of our vids from last summer with both daytime spinning and nightime fire spinning. We were teaching at a festival:

Hope that was of some interest,
