So Im planning on building a chimera alien costume (from the video game series resistance). Im probably going to be using liquid foam for the alien head. Along with the head I need atleast four yellow battery operated lights to serve as eyes.

This shows you what the costume will be based upon, http://www.resistanceunion.com/enemies/advanced-hybrid.html

I also need 4 brighter yellow lights to go on the back of the costumes

This shows the back of the costume a little bit better, http://resistance.neoseeker.com/wiki/Advanced_Hybrids

I plan on housing the light in the bottom of a clear plastic tube and then velcroing it to the back of the costume. This is all still just in the planning stage, but before i get started Id like to know how all of those things are going to be and work. any insight on the lights I should buy for it would be greatly appreciated!

Have you seen those LED rope lights? I bet you could get short ones at places like Radio Shack, or any other store that sells electronic components. You could also wire some yourself, with LEDs, a switch or two and some coin batteries. Check out MakeZine and CraftZine, as they have all kinds of cool articles about stuff like that.
