Okay, so It's not really a robo-Saget; it's actually a robot on one shirt and Bob Saget on the other. I just wanted a catchy title.
I am planning on making some stencilled shirts as Christmas gifts, but having never stenciled before, I figured I should practice first. I made these two for my husband as trials, and I think they turned out fairly well. He likes them, and I learned enough from making them that I now feel confident enough to stencil some gifts.
Attempt #1 - "Crazy Robot Loves You"
I decided to start with a really simple design. I love this wacky robot. I want to make him into a rubber stamp.
Attempt #2 - "Stop Creeping Me Out, Bob Saget."
This one didn't turn out quite as well. I was experimenting with using less paint, and learned from that experiement that more paint looks better. That being said, I think the flash has made it look worse than it actually does; in real life, you can only see the variations in the black if you look closely.
