I'm going to try to get a good picture of the snowflake tomorrow.  It's SO pretty and deserves to be shown off.  Hopefully when the light is better I can get it in focus.

Straw_holder, I love that blue ball you made. Would you mind telling  those are done?

Before I found out I was getting one from straw_holder, I went looking for a tutorial because I loved hers so much:

The link Muria posted is the one I used to teach myself to make them.  They are pretty easy...just a bit fussy.  I'm working on modifying them a bit so they are more "my own".  I was thrilled with the Mickey Mouse one I made last round, and look forward to trying more special ones like that.

Thanks to both of you! I will have to try this, though it does look very fiddly. I am even more impressed with your results, Straw_holder, now that I see how it's done.

Well, thanks to my terrific kids, my tree is now up, and it is even more special this year thanks to ollieorange and pibbgirl, and, of course, riario. I hope all of you have a lovely holiday.

I received my ornament from coral. It's looks like an origami crane but it's felted. (I don't felt so I'm guessing here) It's really unique. I LOVE it!!! Sorry for the bad photo. It's an awesome ornament in person Cheesy
