I once received a hollowed out oranment and it was made from an egg shell.  I think it was done the same as the paper mache ball mentioned earlier but you'd just have to be way more careful.  It was glossy so I'm thinking it was coated with something.

Best of 2013 winner, but this is just as good.

I am going to try it with a glass ornament.  If it breaks, I'll go get papier-mache, but I have to try the glass first.  Huh

Anyway, thanks for the info.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I have been waiting and hoping for a sunny day to get really nice pictures of these ornaments that I received. However, that doesn't seem to happen. So I took these with out good light and the pictures don't do them a bit of justice!

I received these from jarheadwed. "It's Merry Fishmas!" And "Have yourself a crafty little Christmas!" There was a gorgeous skull card with it and the box was also quite amazing! You can see a little peak of it in the picture.

I got this adorable mitten with the green buttons from keeperox. It is so well made! I love the green on green buttons and the contrast with the red mitten!

Thanks so much to both of you!
I have a white tree and I decorate it with red and green, so these will all be PERFECT on my tree. I am hoping to set it up over the weekend, then I will maybe get some better pictures!

Love that mitten!

OK, here are some more pics - first, the embroidered ornament from Beetastic.  I looooove it!  It's so retro and cool, and the embroidery is a-mazing!

and this is the back of it (or possibly the front!):

Beetastic also sent a very cute Christmas card!  Thanks for being a great partner Bee, and thanks also for the stitching tips!

And today i received these GORGEOUS ornaments from Muria:

The snowflake is beaded wire, and is delicate and twinkly and perfect!  The little wreath is so cute - it has tiny pine cones and sparkly leaves and berries!  It's so detailed - i love it - thanks Muria, these will both look great on my tree...

The fish is such a huge hit here. My boys have been saying "fishmas is coming!" since it arrived.

Here is the adorable mitten ornament I recieved from keeperox.  Sorry for the delay in posting it, I had my wisdom teeth out the day I recieved it and just got around to it today.

I was waiting for our Christmas tree to go up to post pics of my final ornaments that I received from Muria.  She sent me a wonderful polymer clay Santa.  He is so cute, and has a teddy bear in his sack.  I love it!!!  She also sent me one of her wonderful beaded snowflakes (made with wire).  I couldn't for the life of me get a good picture of the snowflake, but it's like the other ones posted.  I love how it looks on the tree.  It sparkles and is SO pretty.

Here's a picture of Santa...

Thank you so much, Muria!!  It was a pleasure swapping with you!
