Thanks for posting the ornament you sent me, straw_holder!  I fully intend on getting some pics up this week, and apologise profusely to my wonderful partners for not getting it done sooner!  I'm glad everyone's enjoying the ornaments I sent: I think two of the snowflakes may be close to exactly the same (being handmade, "exact" rarely is), but the other two are a little different (just enough to keep it interesting)!  Smiley

And once I remembered to look for my missing mitten during the day, it was located quite quickly, so I now know where all my ornaments are again.  Smiley  And the little people have been told under no circumstances are they allowed to run off with any more of my ornaments!   Smiley

I'm going to try to get a good picture of the snowflake tomorrow.  It's SO pretty and deserves to be shown off.  Hopefully when the light is better I can get it in focus.

Straw_holder, I love that blue ball you made. Would you mind telling  those are done?

Before I found out I was getting one from straw_holder, I went looking for a tutorial because I loved hers so much:

The link Muria posted is the one I used to teach myself to make them.  They are pretty easy...just a bit fussy.  I'm working on modifying them a bit so they are more "my own".  I was thrilled with the Mickey Mouse one I made last round, and look forward to trying more special ones like that.

Thanks to both of you! I will have to try this, though it does look very fiddly. I am even more impressed with your results, Straw_holder, now that I see how it's done.
