I found the pattern for this bag on a post here on craftster and I knew immediately I had to make one.  This is the pattern http://www.ottobredesign.com/fi/kaavat/pdf/purse_EN_5-07.pdf

And here is my bag. I call it "Petit Noir" because it is small and black :-) I enlarged the pattern to double the size to make a laptop tote. It was a very simple bag to construct.

INSIDE (sorry it is not such a great shot, but the fabric is the same as the outer upper portion of the bag)

That is a very nice purse.  I have had this pattern for awhile, even have the fabric I was going to use but just haven't done it yet.  I like how you enlarged it.  Great Job!

Really really lovely.

I used that pattern too, but switched up the handles to overlap the top section.

You're right, it's a breeze... and yours came out wonderful.  I love the fabric and the ribbon.

i'm working with the same pattern at the moment... i did 1.5 times the size because i thought it was too small. so i bought too little of the ribbon in the first place and have to go to the shops first to get some more before i can go on sewing.
will post a pic when i'm done  Smiley

i like your colour choices! Smiley
