Thank you!
I added the pattern and I hope it works for you! It was one of the first times that I have ever written out one of my patterns.
The white hat is for my sister in law. Her birthday is in November.

"Make sure you have 2 ear-flaps"

hahahahahaha

Very cute and cozy looking!  What weight yarn/size needle did you use?  (If you said and I missed it, I apologize.)

I love the dark red with the white trim.

Ha ha! Well, I was working on the white one and I made one ear-flap and then I was ready to attach it to the hat. That's when I realized that I had only one ear-flap. On of my poor sister-in-law's ears would have been cold... Ha ha!
Thanks! I used "Red Heart-TLC essentials, worsted weight 4 ply" for the white and red and then the green was some kind of fuzzy left over stuff that I had. I'm not sure what kind that was.
Sorry I forgot to put the size hook. It was size "I". At least that is what it said.

I know this was posted like a year ago, but hopefully you'll notice!
Is it "normal" for the hat the keep scrunching up?!? I'm constantly undoing it over and over and over again and it won't stay flat. I keep trying to do it less and less tight but it keeps scrunching up! GRR. Help?

Well, that happened to me a while back, but I found changing to a bigger size hook works (if you naturally crochet tight stitches, change to a bigger hook and perhaps a different kind of yarn.)
I just found this, so sorry I'm a few months late.  Sad
