I used McCall's 4887. made the wings with wire and pantyhose, then painted them. i still need to secure the wings on to her back better....

I am pretty sure it just doesn't get any cuter than that!  I am wracking my brains trying to figure out who I could make that for.  (I'm pretty my grandsons would say no thanks Wink)

And lovely work BTW.  It looks absolutely perfect.  Is that two layers of different colored tulle in the front?  I love the look of that.  Was that part simple?

I do have a "step-granddaughter" who I'm not around enough to really make her Halloween costume, but I do usually make her a holiday dress.  Two layers of tulle like that could be adapted to some sort of underskirt, I think.  That would be cute.

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

its like 3-4 layers of each color it was not hard at all. well cutting it was kinda hard, becuse the bottom isnt straight, but sewing it wasn't bad.

i think the pattern called for 3 1/2 yards of one color and 1/2 of the other.
