I have 3 skeins of blue worsted yarn i think, the yarn does not have any label on it,i bought it on ebay but in the auction it says for us 7-8 needles.

Do you own a stitch dictionary?  That's what I do whenever I'm starting a new scarf... flip through the rib or cable (or even lace depending on what my mood is...) section for some inspiration.

Irish Hiking Scarf? It's very beautiful and even if you don't know how to do cables yet, you can make this.

My So-called Scarf is a cool herringbone stitch pattern.

I thought this one was a pretty design.  I'm very new to knitting and so far it's been easy.  I'm still in the beginning of it, but it just repeats.  I didn't use the needle sizes or yarn the pattern recommended and so far it still looks nice.

Branching Out is a lovely and very easy lace pattern scarf that works with many different types of yarn.
