I was thinking of a swap for baby hats... either sewn, knitted, crochet, or whatever (although i can't think of any whatevers lol)  Maybe 2 hats per person?  A summer one and a winter one?  Anyone interested in a swap like this?  I would start it early Jan with hats due 1 month after start date.

Sounds great!  I can knit some hats in a jiffy.   Grin

I don't know how to make a summer hat, though... Guess I could learn!

Well I guess we will go with 2 hats, one winter one summer.
if you are going to knit the summer one, i think the new (at least new to me) technique of kniting fabric would be a cool one Smiley  The summer one is just a hat to keep the sun out of the baby's face.
anyway, make 2 hats and then you will trade it with your partner (following the rules for swapping on this board) and get 2 hats back.  I think I will start the swapping date as the 1st of feb to see if anyone is interested.   and you will have 2 months to finish both hats..does that sound good to everyone?

Ooh, sounds like fun.  I am definately going to sign up for this.  I have so much scrap yarn that I would love to use up!  And I [heart] making baby clothes.  Can't wait!

I think I might really like to do this! Where might I find the "craftster rules" on swapping? I know, I should go look myself...sorry, I'll go do that now!

And then....what are we considering a "baby"? An infant? or toddler? or do you figure that out with your swapper.

Sorry for all the newbie questions....I've obviously never done a swap on this board before! Wink
