I know this isn't too outrageous, but every year since I was a little girl (that;s a long time Wink ) I've made a scarecrow out of old clothes for Halloween. This year he's sitting on my funkrustico log throne
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=200284.0 and my pumpkins are blue-well bluish green. They're called Australian blue pumpkins and they grew like crazy this year-none of my orange ones did Roll Eyes

That is great! I used to make a scarecrow every year but have not in a long time....maybe this is the year to get back to that!

I love those blue pumpkins, they look so creepy and of course he would be sitting on his throne ... thanks for sharing this

I just thought I'd show how beautiful these blue pumpkins looked as jack o lanterns-the inside orange glowed even when the candles weren't lit!!!I like them better than the orange now. And they have really sweet pulp for cooking.
