I'm pretty enough for both of us.

I got my February issue of Budget Living and read From the Editor which led to an idea.  When we walked into our homes, a lot of us only see what we want to improve on or what looks like "blak".  How about using your camera and taking some photos  of what you like.  Think arty and magazine style.  Combine into a book and leave on your coffee table to reminder you of what is great about your house.  Maybe make the cover out of a laminated photo of the front of your house and the back cover of the back.

Related item: Remember that ad had a white hand with glass top on it as a coffee table.  The guy had taken photos of that table in all sorts of odd locations and made a coffee table book on top of that same table.  Can't remember the product (camera or printer).  Wouldn't that be great with some craft project you had done?  Like a purse or scarf or book or such....   Just a thought.

for years i've wanted to make a coffee table coffee table book-lots of photos of great coffee tables (which would, of course, include the coveted lite brite coffee table by artzyfartzy Cheesy)

that reminds me of seinfeld when kramer wanted to make a coffee table book that was of celeberty's coffee tables...  and legs folded out of the book that made the book itself into a coffee table.

aw, i just saw this post. shucks.. Wink thanks firefly for the compliment!

I love all the ideas in this thread. I really think i'm going to do the fav-thing-of-my-house book.  and put it right on my lite-brite table!  The book would be quite enormous with all my crafted household items 'round here!  I like revamping or making house-stuff instead of buying new. I guess it's alot more sentimental that way..I could never love a coffeetable as much as I do the lite-brite one for example.  Not all because I like the design aspects of the table.......but because i remember me and the hub going to the hardware to get all the materials then bringing them home and making it.  No purchased tables will ever give me flutter feelings like the lite-brite table will!  Grin
