So my grandma helped me finish it today.. and  I'm in love.. oo and it's pattern Simplicity costumes for adults easy to sew #3608

Upper half.. the necklace is two bracelets taken apart and the bracelet you can't see but it's exactly the same

the bottom half

the pattern says for the edge to be jaggedish with points all over.. what's your guys opinions.. should i leave as it is with the pinking shears or make it more jagged?
haha sorry for the bathroom shots

How cute! I definately think it would be more Bedrocky with the jagged edges.

I think that at least the hem should be jagged up a bit, i dunno if you want the top fraying or anything.

hair and makeup, well, I don't really remember much of the flinstones, but you could try and do something to mirror whats in the show, or if you're going straight up cave-man about it, you could backcomb your hair a bit and pin it at odd angles with twigs in it (Thats what i did when i was a cave woman.) Hair glue is very nice, as is a quality holding hairspray.

I have an outfit like this.  I like the "just bitten by a shark" hem. For my hair I took a plastic bone cut it in half and put each half on a head band.  So it looks like it is going through my head.  Your hair is longer than mine so you could tease it to make it look crazy.  I made furry boot covers for my shoes because it is too cold to go shoeless where I live.

Hair wise I think a high ponytail with a plastic bone would work sort of a cross between Pebbles and Wilma. Hers was more of a high bun if I remember right with a band around it. Check the Cartoon Network I'm sure they have stills from the show.
