Hello! I'm new to Craftster and this is my first post. I bought a plain old bag from AC Moore, and jazzed it up a little bit. It came out a little different than I expected, but it'll be a cute gift for my little 10-year old cousin. =D

Just a plain shot of the bag.

A close up of the flower, which I found a pattern for and knit myself. Then I sewed a button I found lying around in the middle.

And finally, a shot of the inside. I got lazy, so instead of sewing the lining in, I hot-glued it. It seems to hold up just fine though. I'm considering adding a pocket on the inside.

Hope you guys like it!  Wink

your embellishments are cute!!  wish i knew how to knit lil flowers!  your cousin will love this.

as for the hotglue.. teehee!! you should check out some fabric glues like fabri-tac ... that stuff is mighty powerful!  sometimes when I don't trust pinning I'll use the fabri-tac let it dry completely and then sew over it.

great job on adding your personal touch Smiley
