I appreciate all the support guys. Doctors told my MIL today that they thinks it's a matter of days before we lose grandma. So it looks like I may be heading back to Nebraska for a bit of time. I'm so sorry to dump on you guys, but you are all so helpful and I appreciate it more than I can tell you!

Yberry, does your daughter like pink? probably a silly question.....hmmm......

Perhaps this is not tactful, but we were in the same place with DH's grandma exactly this time last year, so at least I can say I know what you're going through.

And yes, Neta luuuuuurves pink.

Is this going to become knittychick and yberry's Ongoing Monty Python Swap?

I can see a python-esque broadcast of "And she's off! She is - wait! wait! amazing! she is threading a needle with orange - no, red - DMC! Unbelievable!!!"

Thank you Melladh, but I'm sorry, we don't have time.

And now for something completely different. DH just hooked up our new VCR/DVD, so I can finally watch my Flying Circus tapes again, and even record them onto DVD! And now, "The Bells of St. Mary!"

Okay, I went to the post office today, fully intending on mailing it, but there was a line going out the door. It was snowing like mad, 10 degrees...

Me and My mom are going first thing Monday to beat the crowd... Damn Christmas season! I wouldnt have minded waiting in line, except that the back of the line was outside.  Angry

I think Me and the Coconuts will go Migrate now!

XD
I came home late last night - about 11:45 because I was at a dance.
When I came home and saw my dad on the computer I held something up that I'm going to send to my swap partner saying "Does this look like ________?" after he said he's seen some Monty Python. After that I made him watch that skit XD (totally unrelated to the craft btw, but I thought he'd find the skit funny)
