Rose's Wrist Warmers - Doctor Who

I LOVE this pattern! These turned out ten times nicer than I thought they would, and the pattern is really well written. I highly recommend it, and this is only my second knitting project ever. It's not too hard for beginners.



I used size 5 Addi Turbos and Berroco Ultra Alpaca in #6284. It's one of the most unusual colors I've ever seen for a yarn, and I loved the end result. The alpaca fibers are in bright blue and yellow, and the wool is a dusky rose color. It makes the yarn sort of glow, strange as it sounds. It takes a couple hours for each wrist warmer.



I'm thinking about giving these to my sister as a Christmas present, and making another pair for myself!

Thanks! I think this is the perfect project for mastering the magic loop method as well. Anything to avoid DPNs! 

I've been crocheting for years too, but after lots and LOTS of practice, the knitting is starting to get easier.

I really like them - and not just for the fangirl aspect! They look very warm.
