Hi everyone,
I haven't posted in ages!  Anyway, I had a Pharmacy Ball for uni with a casino royale/james bond theme, and I fell in love with a dress by Jenny Packham, the designer of some dresses from the movie.  I ended up making this in about 2 weeks, because for the first 2 I procrastinated trying to look for a pattern I could use.  I gave up on patterns and made my own calico (muslin) pattern first then went from there!


Its a bit scrunched up in this photo:

The satin doesn't look this puckery in real life, I think the camera flash makes it look alot worse than what it is...

I didn't take any photos before the ball because I was just finishing the hem with an hour to go till it started! The whole thing only cost about AUD$90 which is a bargain considering the only ones I could find to buy that were half decent were already $300.

Anyway, thanks for looking!
