I made this pen from a material called alternative ivory. I engraved a goldfish pattern and then filled it with black ink. I think it came out pretty good.

Yes MistressT, I did turn the pen on my wood lathe. Most of the pens I make are wooden, but I also use other materials like Corian, or this alternative ivory.
In previous posts I had a corn cob pen, and then a snake skin pen.
