2007 Completed Costumes Scrapbook! (completed project pictures & links go here!)

I know I'm a little late but i only just got hold of pistures of this halloween, here's me as Lara Croft, the costume that managed to get me felt up plenty of times in several hours





Though I didn't make the shorts and t-shirt,(waste of time when both were available at the charity shop for £1, the leg/belt straps and gun-holsters and armaband were all created by moi very quickly in two nights before the party

And just for good measure, here's Me, (Lara), Neil (Julius Ceasar) (a sheet creation) and Cross (Clockwork Orange) along with two of my other mates who don't look like they are in costume but trust me they had perfectly acceptable explanations of who they were



I see my costume got a little worse for wear after multiple Smirnoffs & feel-ups.

I have two completed costumes for kids on my blog - a dinosaur/monster for a 2 year old, and a pumpkin hat and bib for a 9 month old.

This is me and my baby at Halloween.  I made both our costumes.  I'm a giant pink octopus, and she's a knight, though she hated wearing her hat.  (Well, she has this thing about hats.)

I can't tell you why I thought of being an octopus.  I sort of had the idea, and then I couldn't help but do it.  I didn't have a pattern.  But, the head was made in four sections, each arm was made individually, six are stuffed, two are quilted, and those two have elastic tying them to my real arms.  They have felt circles on the bottom for suckers.  I used the machine when I could and it took forever.

my daughter wanted to be a mermaid:


my son wanted to be a white light... this is the best way i could make a white light. lol


they both had matching bags. my son also have glow sticks all around when he went trick-or-treating.

I like the imagination coming off those kids and they are too lucky to have someone completing their day dreams.

I was a voodoo doll.  I used a pattern for the bodice and a bit of the sleeves but the bottom I basically winged and I also had a line it, which the pattern didn't call for, since burlap isn't exactly the softest fabric!
