Alright. So this was more of a "go into everyone's closet" costume instead of a crafty costume. But I did do the arrows. And decorate the bow. The rest well:
skirt: friend
tights: (2 pairs pink and white fishnets) mom
tie: dad
tank top: aunt
Sash: Mom's friend
hat: brother
Shirt/earrings/boots/necklaces: MINE hehe
Wings: .... Zellers *hangs head*

i was miss hello kitty for halloween. im a nanny so i couldnt do a too big costume i sewed a hat and got together an outfit. the kids i nanny for went beserk because they are obsessed with HK...

so this costume was surprisingly easier then i expected, but i'm completely in love with it. i'm an ewok... not wicket just an ewok in general. no pattern just winged, hope you like it!

Alright, after looking at everyone's costumes I'm a little less impressed with my own...it didn't turn out they way I wanted cause I just didn't have the time. Damn school getting in the way of my crafting.

Anyway....my costume. I was a radioactive isotope. Carbon-14 to be exact. I just wore a yellow dress I got cheap (I was going to make one, but, once again...time) and stenciled a ¹⁴C on it real quick. I wore a belt with pompoms on it that were my protons and neutrons, and glowy braclets with pompoms for electrons on them...except the electrons kept falling off and by the end of the night I had a +4 charge! Needless to say I was pretty unstable....

This picture shows my electrons well. I had them on five braclets for my five orbitals: two on the left hand with two electrons each representing my s orbitals, and three on my right hand (two with one electron and one with none) representing my p orbitals. I wish I had three hands so all the orbitals could have been on different "energy levels." I guess I could have put some on my necklaces....oh well.

I tried making earrings that were the radioactive symbol out of shrinkie dinks but all of my attempts came out all warped and curvey, so I gave up on that. Which was too bad cause I really think it would have made the outfit a lot better. Oh well.

And, if you're wondering, one person understood what I was all night. Ha.

I want to post some pictures of myself and some friends. I don't have their permission....sooo I hope its okay.



This is my boyfriend and I. I am Rosie the Riveter, and my boyfriend is a smurf. My costume was a lot of taking reworking fabric. My shirt is taken in a bit, it was very large and my bandanna is two pieces of small fabric tied together. There isn't much to the costume so I didn't make much but my friend made my button!



My friends as Wayne and Garth. Also another put together costume including the Waynes world hat.
