^That Native American costume is really pretty!

Here's my 4-year-old daughter in her Ninja Turtle costume.

Thank you! I appreciate it.

Aww! That ninja turtle costume is darling! It looks great!
I went as Michelangelo back in the 80's (my mother made it, of course), haha. I think I was maybe 3 or 4. Girls into TMNT! That's so cool! Smiley

That (Pacific Northwest!) Native American costume is beautiful! I almost feel like saying I'd wear it out on a regular day,...but realistically, probably not..  Don't forget to post the Mayan costme, I'm interested!

(And the sexy Dick Tracy cracks me up. I had Dick Tracy on my list of potential costumes... but that is a lot better for clubs and such than regular Dick would be!)

Thank you so much! I appreciate it.
Yea, that was my problem. I hate putting so much effort into it and then not being able to wear it again. The problem is that the dress itself is so intricate so even wearing it by itself is almost too much. I'm sure I'll figure out a way to integrate it into my wardrobe regardless. If he lets me (and he better), I will post pics of his costume! He handmakes clay and wood plugs, so the costume was right up his alley. He handmade all kinds of cool stuff for it so I'm anxious to see it when he gets done (since we are going out to a party tonight, he better hurry!).
Thanks again!

I'm generally a very conservative kid so I wanted a costume that covered up a lot of me.

I'm kind of a anti "halloween is an excuse to wear your underwear in public" person.
I made this:

Out of 2 of these:

So I went as SUPERwoMAN! Cheesy
My friend was BATwoMAN and my other friend was SPIDERwoMAN haha.
But I didn't get a chance to take pics of their costumes.

This was my costume for work today. They told me last night that we were dressing punk-rock-ish today. So, last night I made my shirt, arm things, and necklace and modified a thrift store skirt. I'd really prefer to dress this way everyday, but, alas, I can't  Cry
