The Bavarian Bombshell: Lilli! Von! Shtupp!





I made the pengnior, the hair ornaments and altered the wig. Everything else was assembled together

Putting the "little" in Little Red Riding Hood, I made the cape, blouse, "corset" and skirt/petticoats and reconned a child's Easter purse-thingy into a basket/purse by adding the gingham and lace drawsting part on the top.  I had the stockings and bought the shoes, but I grew the hair myself!

Made the Manflesh a Ziggy Stardust costume.  We planned it together using his knowledge of Ziggy and mine of sewing/crafting.  I made the jumpsuit, collar-thingy and glitter vinyl boot covers.  A friend of mine on the other side of the country donated the platform boots and he bought the wig.

My Friends and I went as the Characters from Futurama. My boyfriend was kind enough to be my Fry.

Butterfly Fairy Princess
I made both the gold empire style gown and the red satin capelet.  Both items are unlined and were made by laying down on paper and sketching a pattern around myself and then making a working paper pattern. The red satin has sequined butterfly iron-ons I found at a garage sale and gold tulle trim that I added.

The wings I purchased, repainted and dumped the glitter on.

I also made the crown wreath out of a coat hanger wrapped in ribbon.

The best part was that I was a hit amoung all of the little disney princesses and fairies at my local ZOO BOO that I volunteered at previously. And look I had some fun with photoshop!
