sorry for the pun, but this is truly awesome!! i'm having a BLAST with my new sewing machine and all my oooooooold clothes!!

ok, so this time i was completely inspired by purple-gurl's dresses (most specifically, the third and fourth ones) and i wondered if i could pull something like that off.

well...

i took these two shirts (so sorry about the links... it will change in time ):



and put them together to make THIS!!




and because i seeeewwwww (haha!) love pockets, here's a close up:

thank you, thank you!! yeah, i love pockets because

a. they give me something to do with my hands
b. they add soooo much to an otherwise potentially plain outfit
c. they hide the belly

Very cute! I love the kangaroo pocket and how you edged it with the red fabric- it adds balance to the bottom half.
