That's great!  I alwys have a horrible time doing fur and yours looks very neat and realistic.

I assume it's a she because the dog's name is Lacey.

BlairsBear, when I draw fur I try to think of layers. I use draw what I assume is the base layer, then I use workable fixative, then I put in layer of highlights. I also pay attention to the direction the fur is moving.

oh my... that almost looks like my lab mix that passed away this past March. What I would give to be able to draw like that or had the money to pay someone to make a pic of her for my mom dad for Christmas. It's an awesome pic!
